The Synagogue Superhumanity
It is a year since Mrs. Wolowitz passed away and the gang is at a Synagogue for her death anniversary.
Howard: I feel like Bruce Wayne wearing this black suit. (The gang nods in approval)
Amy: Batman in a death anniversary meet, really?
Howard: Hey, Bruce Wayne`s parents died and he wore a black suit.
Sheldon: Oh, this day can`t get any better.
Raj: Dude, no offence but deep down I really believe that like Norman Bates you have hidden your mom in the basement.
Bernadette: Where else do you think she is?
(Leonard and Sheldon give a wildly shocked reaction)
Penny: Okay, so, who is going to give the speech?
Sheldon: Oh, Penny you need not ask.
Leonard, Raj, Bernadette, Penny: Heyyyy!
Bernadette: I have something to share.
Penny: Is that Mary? Sheldon, did you invite your mother?
Sheldon: Yeah. She is more of a family person and a religious one. A synagogue, a Jesus fanatic, black dresses, widows. It`s like watching a paranormal movie for me. I am sorry. I take back my earlier statement. This day can’t get any worse.
Howard: Sheldon, why didn’t you inform us that you invited your mother?
Leonard, Penny, Howard: Hi, Mary.
Mary: Howard, I believe Jesus gave you the strength to pass through your hard times.
Sheldon: Mother, this is a synagogue and Jesus is a pagan God to them.
Mary: I know and I am going to give a speech.
Everyone get seated in the hall adjacent to the synagogue and the scene shifts to speech time. The audience is Barry Kripke, Bert Kibbler, Stuart Bloom, Wil Wheaton, Mike Rostenkowski, Mrs. Rostenkowski.
Bernadette: When I first met Howard I knew he was a momma boy. He called her as a crazy old lady but deep down he had love and affection for her. That was when I realised that Howard is a loving person with a crazy appearance. Today as we are together to thank God for giving us Debbie Melvina Wolowitz I also thank all of you who could make it to the meet.
(Bernadette welcomes the audience and Howard walks up to the mic)
Howard: One day when I was 11 and my father had just left us. We were very broke and had no money. And while I was building a toy aeroplane using household plastic I flinged the plier and hurt my finger and there was a big cut. My mother carried me all the way to the emergency room. She never gave me any knives from that day and she used to cut my meatloafs. She made sure I wore all my safety accessories before I did anything from that day. She is the reason for me being an engineer.
(Leonard cries so loud the entire room sees him)
Leonard: Sorry I am just.. It`s just… so… touching.
Howard: And when i was going to marry a catholic girl. My mom was the most supportive of all for my marriage. Thank you all for being here. With love, Howard Wolowitz.
(Mary winks at Howard as she takes over the mic)
Mary: All my fellow Jews here. Jesus himself was a Jew and was the Messiah. I ask you all to read the Bible once and come closer to God. You are all close enough to finish the race. You are just not completing the last sprint.
Sheldon: I wonder what my mother drank. Where is it coming from?
Penny: You don’t understand what she is talking about?
Sheldon: I never understand her ways, Penny. Jesus did this. Jesus did that.
Penny: Wow.
(Stuart takes over the mic to give his speech)
Stuart: Debbie was the first woman who took me in. She gave me a beautiful family to stay with and a house and not to mention – food, she helped me rebuild my comic book store. I miss her very much. Love you, Deb.
Audience: We all love you, Deb.
