In The Beginning

"Once upon a time ..."

No.

"I had a dream ..."

No.

"The first time I saw ..."

No.

"I saw a ..."

No.

"It began the usual way ..."

No.

"In a far away place ..."

No.

"There lived a ..."

No.

I am not able to get a beginning hook. Maybe it is starting block. Where do I begin with? What do I begin with? I don`t want the reader to think, why am I even reading this? My goal is putting words together. I would rather do that without thinking about much about my opening words.

Without a beginning how will I even proceed with my work. It is like trying to cook a dish from the middle. A writing must begin from the beginning so as to level the work.

Most of the opening lines I can think about are clichéd. A opening line must be one that fits in the story well. It must be a establishing statement of the story that follows.

Well, this beginning is about a beginning and it is the end.
